We are in beautiful Maui. This morning we got up at 2:00 to watch the sunrise at the top of the volcano here. It was amazing. It felt like we were at the top of the world. Then things got a little rocky...
We biked down the volcano. At first it was fun, but then....
I FLIPPED OVER MY HANDLEBARS
Luckily we had those beautiful helmets on. I smacked my head really hard. And I landed on the handlebars, and broke a rib. Ouch!
And we still had 20 miles to go. We made it...
Let's see how tomorrow goes!

Oh my gosh Allison!!! I hope that you are okay! Good thing you had your helmet on! What a bummer to have a broken rib on your vacation! I hope that the rest of your trip is wonderful! We're jealous you are in beautiful Hawaii!!! Have a wonderful time and BE CAREFUL!!!
First of all, I am so jealous that you are in Maui. I was just thinking how great it was there last year when we had our girls trip. Second, OUCH! I hope you are ok. I guess you'll have to lay on the beach the rest of the time. darn ;)
Flipping over handlebars huh? I believe in Moab language it's called an endo...I've never written it out before :) I"m so sorry about your rib!
